half the year, ice cold water, some goals

I'm only half surprised that we've hit the half year mark. It's just so like a year to swoosh on by and leave you recovering from a hot summers day. I don't really mind it. If a major life change like getting married and changing hemispheres have taught me anything, it's to take life day by day. Eat the elephant one bite at a time so to speak. My favorite day to take on is one that involves Ben, our little car and the open road, new places, the promise of stopping for a drink, sunscreen and summer. This past weekend was all of the above.
The half year mark today is challenging me to reflect on what goals I have for the rest of year. I'll share some of them:
/Get my WA drivers license already
/Run a half marathon
/Learn to take better photos
/Join something
/Something about getting a real job, but that's a little trickier to talk about today
/Have a 'Christmas in July' party.

You're very welcome July.

  1. I am more than half surprised with this half of a year mark. It always crawls in so quietly and quickly. I need to get my ID drivers licence, too! And I keep postponing it and for some reason avoiding the action.

Not related but have you beed to Kim's Korean in Spokane? Do you like Korean food?

    1. I finally got my drivers license a few days ago. I don't know why it took me so long, so good luck with yours! hope the ID one isn't too bad!
I have heard of Kim's Korean, I know my husband has been there and liked it, but I haven't, but would love too! Don't think I've ever tried Korean food.
